1. How do you pronounce your URL and what does it mean?

You can either say Peregrint as one word or Peregrin T. What ever floats your boat. And no. It has nothing to do with Rupert Grint.

It’s from Pippin’s name. Peregrin Took.

2. Who is that in your icon?

It’s from a drawing of Bilbo I did a while ago. Can be found here.

3. How did you get into The Lord of the Rings?

My dad dragged me to watch Fellowship of the Ring in 2001 and ever since then I’ve been hooked. I watched all three movies about 3-5 times each in the theaters. Read the trilogy when I was 9. I’ve loved LOTR since I was 8 and it will forever be a part in my life.

4. How old are you?

I was born on April 30, 1993. Do the math.

5. Where are you from?

Connecticut, USA.

9. What is a ‘Ringer’?

A Ringer is someone who loves J.R.R. Tolkien’s book, The Lord of the Rings. If you want to be a Tolkienite I think it’s a great idea if you read some of his books. :) But I completely understand that it’s tough. It’s taken me years to fully understand the LOTR novel.

Basically, if you truly appreciate Tolkien and what he’s created, feel free to call yourself a Ringer or even a Tolkienite.

10. How do I become part of the Ringer/Tolkienite community on tumblr?

Well, the simplest way to do this would be to talk to us! There are many of us, and we’re all nice. Get involved with the projects, talk the the LOTR roleplaying blogs! Make your own stuff like graphics and gifs and such. Just talk to us.
